Mama and Baby Treats: Lucy & Belle Review

This week we received a delivery that wasn’t just filled with treats for Arlo but a treat for me too. Since becoming a mum and even whilst I was pregnant, shopping for my baby became a bit of an obsession and I can’t really remember the last time I treated myself so it was lovely to receive something in the post for me too.

Because I am breastfeeding when we are out and about for the day I don’t actually need to take a lot with me. A muslin, bib, two or three nappies at the most, and a pack of wipes is usually as far as it goes. The bag I have been using since Arlo was born is far too big and isn’t the nicest looking and that’s why I was super excited to receive a Mini Change Case from Lucy and Belle.

Part of the Alexandra range from Pasito a Pasito it is the perfect size to fit Arlo’s changing essentials. Mine came in a cream colour with pretty branding detail at the front. The exterior of this bag is textured making it easy to wipe down to clean. It’s big enough for Arlo’s bits as well as my hand cream and antibacterial gel I usually carry around with me.

The case is practical for everyday use and you can either store it at the bottom of your pram or in your handbag. Who would have thought changing your baby could actually be stylish? It can even be used as a make-up/toiletry bag for parents after their baby’s use.

Second to open were these Night Sky Starburst Muslin Pants.

These pull-on trousers have a sweet star pattern and are super soft. Their simple design makes them the perfect go-to essential for your little one as they can be easily paired with any top. The Night Sky Starburst range offers a matching top to complete this outfit which comes in a long sleeve, short sleeve or a vest.

Last to open was the Essential Stripe Playsuit in 100% prima cotton.

You can really feel the quality of this all-in-one. It is so soft and stretchy making it a comfortable choice for your baby. I love the simple stripe design as it makes it easy to pair with any coat or jacket if you’re planning to go out for the day.

Although Arlo isn’t even four months yet, if you’ve been following me then you’ll know I talk about how big he is for his age. His legs and arms are really long so we opted for size 6-9 months and as you can see it fits him well with plenty of room still for growth over the next month or so.

Lucy and Belle offer gorgeous pieces for both babies and parents making it a great online destination for the both of you.

Our package even came with an extra surprise…

Treat yourself as well as your little one!
