Finding my perfect festival outfit: Shopping at the Icon Outlet at the o2

For our first family festival this year, I was kindly invited to have a shopping experience at the Icon Outlet A The O2 to find my perfect festival outfit. The Icon Outlet is home to over 60 premium fashion and lifestyle brands all offering 70% off retail prices so I was excited to bag myself a great deal, and the perfect outfit to wear to the festival.

Situated at the brilliant O2 in Greenwich, London, we arrived after an easy tube journey which took us right outside the O2 at North Greenwich. You can’t miss the Icon Outlet when you enter the O2 with it’s beautiful, stand-out gold stairs which lead right up to the shopping village. Although very pretty to look at, we were with Arlo so we had the buggy and took the lift rather than the escalator, but this reminds me just how family friendly the shopping village was from the moment we arrived.

With spacious lifts, plenty of space in and out of shops, and great changing facilities, it was a shopping experience that I was completely at ease bringing my toddler along to, tick!

My festival look

We were heading to the The Big Feastival in the Cotswolds for Arlo’s 2nd birthday which was set to be our first family festival. I knew it would be on a full on day so my first must was an outfit that I’d feel comfortable in.

History tells me that when we go to any big open space with my toddler, it’s a full on workout keeping up with him and running around. I also knew I’d be doing a lot of travelling to and from the festival and knowing me, a bit of dancing while I’m there too… so I also wanted something cool and practical while still giving all the festival vibes!

I chose this playsuit from G-Star RAW at the Icon Outlet to wear. My partner has shopped in G-Star RAW before but this was my first time and I absolutely loved the women’s collection!

The playsuit I chose for the festival was super lightweight, comfortable and the dark denim wash I thought would fit the festival look.

I chose to pair with a pair of lace up black worker books from Kurt Geiger. The weather is always unpredictable and I wanted to be fully prepared for long grass and any mud!

I’ve had lots of messages after posting these boots on my Instagram as not only were they great for the festival, they are proving to be a great option for every day looks, they go with anything!

With over  26 restaurants and bars, after our shopping experience, we headed into the O2 and had lunch. There is so many different eateries to choose from inside and out, so it was the perfect spot after we were all shopped out. Having everything there all under one roof, especially as a family was a great bonus!

We will definitely be back!

Happy shopping!
