Christmas Gift Ideas for Kids: With Jeujouet

{In collaboration with Jeujouet}

If you’ve still got a few gifts to get for those special little people in your life, don’t worry so do I. I have never been one of those people to plan months in advance, and I don’t tend to do much shopping until we hit December. Here we are all of a sudden in the twelfth month, and now I’ve made a start, I remember just how much I love choosing gifts for Arlo! This will be his second Christmas and it’s amazing to see all the different kinds of  toys he can use now he’s a year older.

I have teamed up with Jeujouet for this post who specialise in beautiful, innovative quality toys and nursery gifts for babies and older kids. Here I share some stand-out gifts which all share one thing in common- they’re all unique and will go down a treat!

I absolutely love having the option to personalise Arlo’s things and for Christmas personalising gifts gives the ultimate special touch. I’ve picked out 3 gifts that all can be addressed and personalised to someone special.

Music lovers

If you’re buying for a little one that loves music and discovering new sounds is their thing, then the Moulin Roty piano would be the perfect gift to add to their music collection. With super cute illustrations on it, you can personalise it with their name on the front.

Getting dry

There really is nothing cuter than a baby fresh out the bath. Oh wait there is, a baby fresh out the bath wrapped in a cozy soft towel. Especially one that’s personalised with his name on…

In a gorgeous grey cotton the  Personalised Hooded Towel features a fun loving cat character on the hood with a contrasting warm mustard colour for the outline and whiskers.

What I really love about this towel is it’s unique design, especially the signature Moulin Roty black and white stripes which feature on the cat ears on the hood and on the outskirts of the towel; this really sets the towel a part from others I’ve seen.

The option to personalise this towel with their name is what makes it the perfect gift for Christmas. You can choose from three fonts and colours and I was so impressed with the quality of the lettering and how beautiful it looks on the towel. I went for Marketing font in white.

Having his name on it brings a real sentimental value to the towel, so it becomes not just a towel, and instead something special and personal that we will keep for years to come.

Fury backpacks

There’s something about opening and carrying a bag that toddlers love so this year you could give them their very own Lion backpack to carry around with their name on it. Choose from three colours and fonts for their name. Also comes in an Elephant and Koala design.

Gifts to making learning fun, why not treat a little one to a toy that has multi uses. I share 3 with entertaining features, all which will keep their little hands, eyes and ears occupied every time!

Activity Cushion

As obvious and maybe even as simple as an activity cushion may sound, I’d actually never even heard of them before I discovered this Yellow House Activity Cushion! In a great mustard colour, with the same Moulin Roty black and white detailing around the edges as the hooded towel, this is such a brilliant gift!

Representing a cool yellow house, the cushion is a fun activity for all the senses. It scrunches and jingles, there are bits for them to chew on, and it even has a surprise when you open the window!

It’s got a little mirror on it too which Arlo loves and it’s a lovely soft accessory for his playroom. Suitable from birth.

Lights, Camera, Action

Introduce some role play and let their imaginations run free at story time with this animal cinema box. It includes a pad of programmes, cinema tickets, a torch and 5 discs with 8 illustrations to attach. When you project it onto the wall, each disc will tell a colourful story. Such an innovative activity toy that the kids will love!

A special kind of book (from birth)

I was completely drawn to this book and even at 16 months, I think Arlo would enjoy this. Doctor Alice Book invites you into Doctor Alice’s world of examining patients… the pig fell from a ladder, the rabbit has chicken pox…and it even gives you the option to insert a picture of your child on the last page so Doctor Alice can come and take care of them. The book also comes with a Doctor Alice finger puppet too.

A favourite time of day for many so you just can’t go wrong with buying something for the bath this year. I’ve picked two super fun bath activities that will really enhance their fine motor skills and coordination.

Snap Snap

A super fun crocodile toy that easily sticks onto the side of the bath with suction cups. There are 6 fish which they can store in the pockets and fish out. When the pockets fill with water, the fish on the front start spraying it out.

Shoot some hoops

Arlo just loves a ball and if your little one does too, I think they’ll have tonnes of fun with this Basketball Hoop toy at bath time. With 3 pig balls, they can throw each one into the hoop time and time again. This also easily fits onto the bath using suction cups.
